The Benefits Of Massage

Massage Therapy is one of the oldest and most common forms of complementary therapy. It is used to relax muscles, relieve pain, reduce stress and promote relaxation and well-being.

Massage therapy is often recommended for individuals with chronic pain. A study published in the journal Pain Medicine showed that women who received a 30-minute Swedish massage once a week for eight weeks reported a significantly lower average pain level.

Massage increases your ability to relax and focus during meditation. Improves flexibility and reduces tension in the body. Massage therapy can be a very effective tool in helping you manage stress.

A group of patients were divided into two groups of six, and they each received a different form of massage therapy (Swedish massage or deep tissue massage). The results showed that the deep tissue massage group had lower heart rates and blood pressures than the Swedish massage group, and it also showed a faster recovery rate.
